Established in 2025 with the inaugural Convening, the North Orange County Community College’s Women in Power Spaces (WiPS) Initiative is designed to advance social justice and gender equity through an agenda that focuses on public service leadership; educational equity; economic security; and safety from gendered violence.
The WiPS Initiative offers a broad range of education programs and leadership opportunities for students, faculty and staff to learn, lead, and advance gender equity on NOCCCD campuses and statewide. The WiPS Initiative is part of the North Orange County Community College District and is open to all, regardless of sex or gender.
